IDMVS in collaboration with the Gender Disaster Network (GDN)/ Gender Responsive Resilience and Intersectionality in Policy and Practice (GRRIPP) is organizing a webinar on the eve of International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDR) 2021 on 12 October (7 PM Bangladesh Standard Time (GMT+6)/2 PM British Summer Time or Western European Summer Time (UTC+01:00) involving policymakers, researchers and practitioners from home and abroad. The title of the webinar is “Disaster Risk Reduction-Climate Change Adaptation and Intersectionality: Bangladesh and Global Perspectives”. The webinar seeks to focus on interfacing DRR-CCA in implementing the Paris agreement. Gender and Intersectionality are expected to be at the center of this webinar’s discourse and discussion.
