Description:

Special issue 3 of the journal 'Social Development Studies: Cuba and Latin America' brings together the ideas and proposals shared by officials, researchers and representatives of civil society during the International Seminar 'Territorial Management for Adaptation, Climate Change Mitigation and Disaster Risk Management with a Gender and Intersectionality Approach in Island Territories'. This event was held in the framework of the project 'Gender and Intersectionality in Policy and Practice' (GRRIPP).
The exchange of knowledge at the seminar has been written down in the pages of the journal. It is hoped that the texts will allow the construction of joint solutions adapted to the local needs of Cuba, Jamaica, Dominica, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Barbados and the Dominican Republic.
