Description:

Cere's Local Climate Action Plan (PLAC) was developed as a strategic planning and management tool to mitigate the impact of climate change. Through it, the Municipality of Ceres proposes to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase access to clean and safe energy.
The Plan has two fundamental phases. (1) The mitigation phase under the objective of promoting the circular economy, managing energy efficiently, and deepening the transition towards renewable energies and sustainable mobility; and (2) the adaptation phase that develops a diagnosis of climatic risks and a definition of objectives for the prevention of impacts due to extreme weather events.
