This research project aims to review and document the impacts of COVID-19 as well as natural hazard-induced disasters on women in India and Nepal over the past two years. The study reviewed preparedness, relief and recovery measures from the perspectives of gender, employment, governance and intersectionality. Thus, we sought to identify, as well as recommend short, medium and long-term measures for policymakers and professionals in the face of future disasters or waves of COVID-19.
